What makes the air to turn downwards?

In the article, it is discussed that this is due to the shape of the airfoil, but there should be a better explanation that involves an explanation of Coandă effect. - Santhosh (talk) 14:39, 12 November 2016 (UTC)

Coanda effect is not the reason why the air gets turned downwards. It's another misconception that prevails and I should have addressed that in the article. However, there is a very negligible amount of Coanda effect in play too. I will address this soon. :) I am currently rewriting the lift part and the associated explanations to reflect this good. Go ahead and improve the contents, I will add my part to it soon. - Karthik (talk) 14:58, 12 November 2016 (UTC)
