:: Oops! I should have described it better. What you are referring to is the misunderstood explanation of streamlines following the airfoil curvature. I'm talking about the enhancement of lift using USB (upper surface blowing) and the Coandă effect that helps generate lift. - [[User:Santhosh|Santhosh]] ([[User talk:Santhosh|talk]]) 15:13, 12 November 2016 (UTC) | :: Oops! What makes the air to turn downwards?edit
In the article, it is discussed that this is due to the shape of the airfoil, but there should also be a better explanation that involves an explanation of the Coandă effect. - Santhosh (talk) 14:39, 12 November 2016 (UTC)
- Coanda effect is not the reason why the air gets turned downwards. It's another misconception that prevails and I should have addressed that in the article. However, there is a very negligible amount of Coanda effect in play too. I will address this soon. :) I am currently rewriting the lift part and the associated explanations to reflect this good. Go ahead and improve the contents, I will add my part to it soon. - Karthik (talk) 14:58, 12 November 2016 (UTC)
